| A Focus on Diversity: Changing the Face of American Birding November 4 -6, 2013 McAllen, TX "Round Robin" PROPOSALS! |
We are currently accepting submissions for brief Round Robin (approx. 5 min each) which
deliver effective strategies to reach diverse audiences with birdwatching activities as well
as bird education and conservation messages.
Round Robin presentation will feature organizations, programs, or activities that:

as bird education and conservation messages.
Round Robin presentation will feature organizations, programs, or activities that:
- successfully attract participants from various heritages and backgrounds
- can be implemented by other organizations
- provide opportunities for repeated exposures to nature for participants
- address bird conservation concerns at the local or regional level
- highlight additional connections to nature in broader terms
Guidelines for submissions:
- no more than a single pages in length
- include name of organization, presenter, and all contact information
- include brief biographical snapshot of presenter
- include a 1 paragraph abstract
- provide bulleted list of 3 - 5 key points participants will learn from presentation
- presentation should be appropriate for a 5 minute discussion
