Updated Prize Information!
For the National Schoolyard Birding Challenge, there will be one (1) monthly grand prize
winner. The school/group with the highest number of species observed that month will
receive:.

- an autographed copy (!) of the Kaufman Field Guide to Birds of North America

- a window cafe bird feeder

- plus additional age-appropriate bird-related prizes such as plush singing birds, a year
subscription to
WildBird, or a bird literature selection*.

In additon to the monthly grand prize, all participating schools will be entered into
random drawings for other prize offerings.
*These titles include The Feather Quest by Pete Dunne, The Grail Bird by Tim Gallagher,
Kingbird Highway by Kenn Kaufman, and Wild America by Roger Tory Peterson and James Fisher.
