NBP and Fledging Birders is grateful for the support of the following:
Thank you to Wild Birds Unlimited for the Window Cafe bird
feeders to be used as prizes.

We recommend that you use WBU's
Right Bird interactive
program to help you identify each species based on your field
observations and notes.
Thank you to Kenn and Kim Kaufman of Kenn Kaufman's Nature Site and the Ohio Young
Birders Club respectively. They understand the significance of getting our youth interested
in birding and were eager to contribute to our challenge.

Kenn has personally autographed copies of his
Field Guide to Birds of North America for
our monthly prizes. This guide is perhaps the ideal choice for young birders.
With a long tradition of birding titles,
the Houghton Mifflin Company has
provided us with a variety of books
for our "Flying High " division.
Thanks WildBird editor Amy Hooper for generously providing gift subscriptions to the
magazine. With its stunning photography and wealth of information, the bimonthly
publication is a perfect prize for our "Fledgling Birders" middle school division!

CAPE MAY YOUNG BIRDERS CLUB
The Cape May Young Birders Club was the New Jersey Schoolyard Birding Challenge's
original benefactor.  Richard Crossley, the club's founder, has continued to provide the
Fledging Birders Program with a myriad of support.  Mr. Crossley's dedication to the future
of birding has been an invaluable resource to Fledging Birders, the Schoolyard Birding
Challenge, and, by extension, the participating student birders across the country.
